Embroidery Digitizing Tips Good embroidery digitizing artwork includes clear vector graphics (like AI, EPS, or high-res PNG/JPG at 300 dpi+), line art, simple cartoons, and bold graphic elements with solid colors. It should avoid photographic imagery, very fine details, and tiny fonts, and instead, have elements that can be translated into clear stitches, such as thick lines and large shapes.Design characteristics:Solid shapes and colors: Designs with solid shapes and single-color areas digitize best. Avoid photographic images that are too complex to be stitched accurately.Clean lines: Line art and simple, bold graphic designs work well. Complex, very fine details often do not translate well to embroidery.Bold fonts: Ensure all fonts are converted to outlines and are large enough to be stitched cleanly. A minimum height of 10mm for uppercase and 8mm for lowercase letters is recommended.Minimal shading: Shading can be done, but it's better to have large areas of color. Complex color blending is difficult to reproduce accurately with stitches.
